Week 14: Build a Game

This week’s project is all about physical game design. How do the games at places like Dave and Buster’s work? Well, in this project you will get to explore all the possibilities that come with arcade and carnival games.

I made a game that uses a string lifting system to help navigate a piece around different holes.

  • Start with a rectangular body

  • Cut holes in the front

  • Add a space at the bottom for your pieces to fall into and retrieve

  • Add strings and a basket to get your piece to the top

  • Paint and add themes if you want!
