From the school bell to the workshop bench.
We pick your kid up from school and bring them straight to Forge to build until you're ready. $5 a pickup.
How it works
Three steps, zero stress.
We pick them up.
A Forge instructor picks your kid up from Village School after the bell and walks them back to the workshop. Just let your school and teacher know in advance that a Forge employee will be picking up your student.
They build at Forge.
They head straight into Open Makerspace or their Forge class — supervised the whole time.
You pick up by 6:30 PM.
Grab them any time before Forge closes at 6:30 PM. No rush from work, no scramble.

Do I need to sign my kid up ahead of time?
Yes — always. For the safety and liability of every student, we only pick up kids who are signed up through our system. We will not pick up a student who isn't signed up, even if the school has them marked for Forge pickup. Same-day pickups must be booked before 2:40 PM.
Which schools do you pick up from?
This year, pickup is available for Village School students only.
How much does pickup cost?
$5 per pickup booking, on top of whatever your kid does at Forge that afternoon. When we arrive at Forge, all students are automatically logged into Open Makerspace and billed as such at the end of each week.
What happens once they're here?
They drop into Open Makerspace or join their Forge Academy class and keep building, with an instructor on the floor the entire time, until you pick up by 6:30 PM.
