Week 9: Woodworking – Choose Your Own Adventure (8/10–8/14)

Campers will learn the fundamentals of woodworking, including measuring, layout, cutting, fastening, and finishing. After learning core skills and safe tool use, students choose from a curated set of functional woodworking projects and build their selection from start to finish.

Older or more experienced campers will have the opportunity to design and direct their own woodworking project, working with instructors to plan dimensions, materials, and construction steps.

By the end of the week, every camper leaves with a finished woodworking project they built themselves — gaining confidence with tools and a deeper understanding of how real objects are made.
