Week 10: Robotics Masterclass//Robotic Arm (8/17–8/21)
Week 10 is an advanced robotics masterclass for campers ready to dive deeper into how robots sense, think, and move. Students will learn to build and program robotic systems using sensors and actuators, exploring how software controls physical motion and how feedback from sensors informs decision-making.
Throughout the week, campers work with real robotics components, writing code to control motors, servos, and sensor inputs while experimenting with different robotic mechanisms. Depending on age and experience, students will complete a capstone robotic arm or pinball machine project, bringing together mechanical assembly, electronics, and programming into a single working system.
This week focuses on systems thinking, precision, and problem-solving, giving campers a true hands-on introduction to modern robotics and automation.
