If cost is what’s holding your family back, Variable Tuition can lower your Forge Academy rate based on your household size and income.
How it works
It takes about a minute, and you’ll know before you sign up.
Your rate
Tell us your household size and income, and you’ll know right away if you qualify.
Proof of income
We’ll ask for a few household details and documentation of your income within 30 days.
Term Length
Your rate lasts the whole school year.
Questions
How do you decide my rate?
We look at how many people live in your home and your household’s yearly income, and compare that to LA County’s area median income (AMI) limits. Those limits take into account how expensive it is to live here.
My child is already in a class. Can we still apply?
Yes. Your new rate starts with your next monthly bill. If you’re signing up for the first time, it applies to your first payment.
How long does my rate last?
Through the end of the school year. You’ll apply again for the next one.
What if our income changes?
You can update your answers anytime. If your rate changes, the new one starts with your next bill.
Do I need to show proof of income?
Yes. After you see your rate, we’ll let you know what to send, and you’ll have 30 days to upload it. If we don’t get it, your tuition goes back to the regular rate and the discount you received is charged back to your card on file.
Who sees my information?
Only Forge’s directors. We don’t share it with anyone.
Does it work with the sibling discount?
Yes. Your Variable Tuition rate comes off first, then the sibling discount.
Does it cover camps?
Not right now. Variable Tuition is for Forge Academy classes.
