Free Family Build Day

Join us for a free night of fun, hands-on creativity for the whole family! Jump into a guided build session that runs on repeat all night, get up close with our laser cutter and run a cut yourself, or take open time and work as a family to build your own craft project using our tools. Bring a friend — all are welcome!

Our instructors run a hands-on build in small groups, on repeat all night — a new group starts every 30 minutes. Jump in when you arrive and take your project home.

Open Makerspace

Open creative time to use our tools and build craft projects. Make something fun together as a family, get creative while you hang out, and poke around a real working makerspace.

How the day runs

All running at once · 2:30–4:30 PM

Jump in wherever you like, and come and go anytime.

    Walk the shop and see what a real engineering makerspace looks like.

  • A guided build project

    Hands-on builds in small groups with our instructors — jump in and take your project home.

  • Laser cutter demo

    Watch a cut up close, then get hands-on and run one of your own.

  • Open Makerspace

    Free time to get creative and build with our tools as a family.

Doors open at 2:30 PM — come and go anytime until 4:30 PM.

Park anywhere you like — the front, side, and back lots are all open for Build Night. No permit needed.
Finding us
Come in through the front door and follow the signs — they'll guide you straight to our space.

All ages welcome. This is a kids' event — every adult must be accompanied by a child, and a parent or guardian must stay on site for the whole event.

Good to know

Do I have to RSVP?

Yes, please RSVP. Space is limited and these nights fill up, so reserving your family's spot is the only way to be sure you get in. Everyone who RSVPs also gets a free 3D-printed spiral fidget waiting at check-in.

Do I have to show up at 6?

No. Come anytime to see our shop and get to build. Our guided build project runs in new groups every 30 minutes.

What ages is it for?

It's a kids' event, so every adult needs to be accompanied by a child. All ages are welcome, and a parent or guardian must stay on site for the whole event.
